An incredible piece of history. This shirt was worn by Georges Bereta in the 1973 game at Wembley - "Fanfare for Europe". The game was billed as the 6 v the 3 and was a celebration of 3 more countries joining the European Union.

Player: Georges Bereta, number 11

Condition Details: The shirt is in very good condition and has been well-kept since the game.

Shirt info: The shirt has the correct labels for an Umbro shirt from the early 1970s. As this was a one-off game, it appears to be a replica with added embroidery for the game.

Match Worn: The shirt is from the match in 1973. There are videos of the game on YouTube where you can see the shirt is correct for the match. The number is hand sewn in the back.

Prominence: The shirt came to me indirectly from a staff member at Wembley Stadium in the 50s, 60s and 70s. His estate was selling his collection of shirts after his passing.

Eco Packaging

All shirts are dispatched in n early recycled cardboard box and a biodegradable and compostable postage bag.
