Information:  Official Hummel match issue Wales away football shirt from 1987/90, as worn by ‘The Dragons’ during qualification for the UEFA 1988 European Championships.  This match issue kit, featuring correctly sized Hummel player number printed within the material, plus fully embroidered crest (damaged, see 'Condition' section), was not commercially available.  This rare and collectable yellow design, featured black trim detailing, are the colours of St David. This kit was worn for the first time away, fittingly, in Denmark (as this was the home of manufacturer), then worn semi-regularly away from home including in Czechoslovakia in 1987 and in the famous friendly win in Italy in 1988.  A fantastic vintage jersey, ideal for a collection of your own or the perfect gift for any football fan.

Condition:  Very Good.  Superb colours, material is silky and smooth with just a few small bobbles, no holes, stains or snags.  Embroidered team badge is damaged (see photos), while manufacturer logo is in fabulous condition.  Correct player size Hummel number sublimated within material on reverse.  Stunning Hummel chevrons across shoulders and sleeves.  Collar, and hems are excellent.

Many of the shirts we sell are over 30 years old, so we also take the age of the item into consideration too, when deciding on how to grade it.
